Hello and Welcome to Flow Relax Yoga. I am Kath Pinnick, offering you the opportunity to focus on your physical and emotional wellbeing in my yoga classes. I first came to yoga over 20 years ago looking for an active practice; I didn’t think I was interested in the subtle part of yoga. But, at that time, I couldn’t breathe deeply, I was carrying some underlying stress about my job, my finances and my relationship and, my mother was terminally ill. And what do you know? I found that yoga could do more than just facilitate strengthening and stretching of my body. I began to connect to my breath and see things more clearly. It took a few years more of asana practice (I tried ashtanga and Iyengar after an initial Hatha yoga for beginners course) before I started to put some more attention to meditation practice and to reading about the philosophy. I took my 200 hours yoga teacher training course after 12 years of yoga, initially not knowing if I could or would teach or not. And look at me now! An established yoga teacher who is living her best life. Join me for a class and maybe with me standing alongside you, you too can transform yourself.
